The Rockville Police Department is now accepting applications for Part-Time and Reserve PATROLMAN positions.
Minimum Qualification Requirements for Part-Time Patrolman:
* Applicant must be a resident citizen of the United States.
* Must be at least 21 years of age and a ILEA Tier-1 graduate or equivalent
* Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
* Must not have been convicted of a felony pursuant to the policy statement in the application or have misdemeanor convictions for domestic battery, stalking, or violations of any protective order.
* Must not have been dishonorably discharged from the military service.
* Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license at the time of appointment.
* Must successfully complete and pass all parts of the application process.
* Starting pay for a Part-Time Patrolman is $23.39 per hour.
Minimum Qualification Requirements for Reserve Patrolman:
* Applicant must be a resident citizen of the United States.
* Must be at least 21 years of age and able to successfully complete the 40-hour Pre-Basic course of instruction.
* Must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
* Must not have been convicted of a felony pursuant to the policy statement in the application or have misdemeanor convictions for domestic battery, stalking, or violations of any protective order.
* Must not have been dishonorably discharged from the military service.
* Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license at the time of appointment.
* Must successfully complete and pass all parts of the application process.
* This is a non-paid, volunteer position
