The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Rochester Police Department, Indiana State Police, Marshall County Drug Task Force, and the Fulton County Prosecutor’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence in the Four Seasons Mobile Home Park in Rochester last week.
During the operation, the suspect resisted law enforcement and battered an officer before being taken into custody.
The search resulted in the seizure of over 100 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a digital scale, $1,035 in U.S. currency, drug paraphernalia, and packaging materials consistent with distribution.

William Morris, 57, of Rochester, was arrested and preliminarily charged with:
• Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 2 Felony) – 2 counts
• Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felony) – 2 counts
• Battery on Law Enforcement Resulting in Bodily Injury (Level 5 Felony)
• Resisting Law Enforcement Resulting in Bodily Injury (Level 6 Felony)
• Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Level 6 Felony)
• Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C Misdemeanor)
Morris was reportedly out on bond from a 2024 Fulton County case involving similar charges, which remains pending.
“Methamphetamine continues to damage lives and families in our community. We will continue working with our partners to identify those responsible, remove these drugs from our streets, and protect the citizens of Fulton County," said Sheriff Travis W. Heishman.
This remains an active investigation. Additional charges and arrests are possible.
