House lawmakers are scheduled to convene at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session.
State Rep. Jack Jordan (R-Bremen) recently received appointments to serve on key House standing committees at the Statehouse.
House standing committee appointments are made by the Indiana House Speaker biennially after the November election and are in effect for the duration of members' two-year terms. Jordan was reappointed as chair of the House Ways and Means Committee's Budget Subcommittee. He also will serve on the House Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee and Government and Regulatory Reform Committee.
"This legislative session we'll work to keep Indiana fiscally responsible while helping Hoosiers save more of their paycheck," Jordan said. "I encourage constituents to make their voices heard by contacting my office with questions or comments, and following session online or at the Statehouse."
House lawmakers are scheduled to convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars and watch committee meetings and session.
