The 2025 legislative session starts next month, and Representative Jack Jordan is honored to serve his constituents at the Statehouse.
He said in a release Monday, “Recently, I was reappointed as chair of the House Ways and Means Committee's Budget Subcommittee. I will also serve on the House Family, Children, and Human Affairs Committee and Government and Regulatory Reform Committee.”
Jordan said, “This legislative session we'll work to keep Indiana fiscally responsible while helping Hoosiers save more of their paycheck. I encourage constituents to make their voices heard by contacting my office with questions or comments and following sessions online or at the Statehouse.”
House standing committee appointments are made by the Indiana House Speaker biennially after the November election and are in effect for the duration of members' two-year terms.
House lawmakers are scheduled to convene at 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 8 for the first day of the 2025 legislative session. Hoosiers can visit iga.in.gov to find legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and sessions.
Senator Jordan said in closing, “As your state representative, I value your feedback on issues impacting you and your family. Please contact me anytime by visiting in.gov/h17 or calling 317-232-9772.”
