The REES Theatre, in partnership with Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District, is inviting the community to a special free screening of the documentary Kiss the Ground on Thursday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the ongoing Incredible Indiana Film Series.

Narrated by acclaimed actor Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that examines one of the most promising approaches to addressing the global climate crisis — regenerating the Earth's soil. Through compelling storytelling, striking NASA and NOAA footage, and engaging visual graphics, the documentary reveals how restoring soil health can help stabilize the climate, rebuild ecosystems, improve water cycles, and support abundant food supplies for future generations.

The film presents soil as a critical and often-overlooked piece of the climate puzzle, offering audiences a hopeful and action-driven perspective on environmental restoration. Since its release, Kiss the Ground has sparked conversations around the world by highlighting regenerative agriculture practices and showing how healthy soil can draw carbon from the atmosphere while strengthening the planet's natural systems.

The screening continues The REES Theatre's commitment to bringing thought-provoking and educational programming to the Plymouth community through the Incredible Indiana Film Series hosted by Marshall County Soil & Water. Audiences of all ages are encouraged to attend what promises to be an impactful evening of film and discussion.

Admission is free, but seating is limited. Tickets are available online through Eventbrite, at Na Rie Simple Treasures, or at the Everwise Box Office the night of the show. Guests are encouraged to secure their tickets early.
