Doors will open at 7:50 am each morning. All enrolled students will receive free breakfast, lunch, and a snack, and after-school care will be available until 5:00 PM.
Turkey Run and Rockville Elementary Schools are launching new preschool classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year. Each classroom will accommodate up to 16 students, with the requirement that children must be 4 years old by August 1, 2024. Parents will be notified by the building principal if their child has been accepted into the program.
While being potty trained is preferred, it is not mandatory. Parents of children who are not potty trained must provide gloves, wipes, and pull-ups. Additionally, parents are responsible for transportation, as no walkers are allowed.
The program's cost is based on a sliding scale similar to the Free and Reduced-Price Meal program. Guardians are required to verify their income with the Central Office. The standard cost is $90 per week for a full day, with a reduced rate of $45 per week available for qualifying families. The program is free for those who meet certain income criteria.
For more information, parents can contact the elementary principals or call Central Office at 765-569-4190.
