Attempts to evade police by hiding in the attic of his home did not turn out so well for a Princeton man Tuesday.
According to the Parke County Sheriff's Office, Devan Twitchell, 32, Princeton was arrested once officers located him hiding in his attic. Twitchell was facing multiple arrest warrants, including one from Parke County for charges of domestic battery and theft, stemming from a March 19 investigation.
When officers arrived at Twitchell's residence, he ran inside and was uncooperative. Officers then entered and found him hiding in the attic and arrested him. He was transported to the Parke County Jail, where he was held without bond on the warrant out of Parke County, as well as a warrant from the Indiana Department of Corrections for a parole violation.
