Plymouth woman arrested by county police for OWI

A 54-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested on Thursday night, August 8^th for possession of a scheduled drug.

At around 10:20, County deputies were made aware of a possible impaired driver. Deputy Geiger located the vehicle in question near 9th and Tulip Roads and made a traffic stop for traffic infractions.

The driver, Judy Wynn of Union Road in Plymouth, had been drinking. She took field sobriety tests and a certified blood test and was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated by testing at .233% BAC. She also had a scheduled drug in the vehicle.

Judy Wynn was taken to the Marshall County Jail and booked for operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more. She was given a cash bond of $1500 and the vehicle was impounded by Lyon Wrecker Service.

Ms. Wynn paid the bond at about 3:30 Friday afternoon and was released.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
