Plymouth Police made two arrests over the weekend involving public intoxication and disorderly conduct, one stemming from an ongoing neighbor dispute and the other from a late-night noise complaint at a local apartment complex.
On Saturday, August 15th, at approximately 3:15 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Oakhill Avenue for a disturbance in progress. Police were advised that the incident was a neighbor dispute that had been continuing from the night before.
When Officer Fisher arrived, he observed a male standing in the front yard holding a beer and yelling at another neighbor who was on his front porch. The male causing the disturbance was identified as Steven Rudd, 42, of the 600 block of Oakhill Avenue in Plymouth.
Rudd was given a portable breath test, which showed a result of .204. He was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
The second arrest came early Sunday morning, August 16th, at approximately 12:39 a.m., when Plymouth Police were dispatched to Pilgrim Manor at 222 Parkview Street for a noise complaint regarding a male howling outside a resident's window.
When Officer Ayala arrived, he located 57-year-old Chadwick J. Anthony of the 800 block of North Fifth Street in Plymouth outside under a picnic table. Anthony was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for medical clearance and then to the Marshall County Jail, where he was lodged for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting law enforcement.
