A Plymouth man was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a routine traffic stop revealed he had never been issued a driver's license.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on July 13th, Patrolman Thornton with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on North Michigan Street following a traffic infraction. During the stop, the driver was identified as Luis Felipe Alvarez, 46, of the Oak Ridge Village Mobile Home Park in Plymouth. Patrolman Thornton determined that Alvarez had never received a driver's license.
Alvarez was taken into custody, transported to the Marshall County Jail, and charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever obtaining a license.
