The Fulton County Community Foundation is partnering with the Fulton County Animal Adoption & Education Center to host a community open house on June 18.
The open house will be from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Fulton County Animal Center, located at 1540 Wentzel Street in Rochester.
This free, family-friendly event invites guests to tour the shelter, meet the staff, learn about the Center’s low-cost vaccine clinic, and spend time with adoptable dogs and cats. Light refreshments will be provided.
The open house highlights how local grant dollars have made a paws-itive impact on shelter services, including facility improvements, spay/neuter programs for community cats, and support for sponsored adoptions.
“The team at the Animal Center does more than care for animals. They help make families whole,” said Brian Johnson, Fulton County Community Foundation Director of Development. “They’re great at finding the perfect match between pets and people, and we’re proud to help support that mission.”
Guests are invited to stop by any time between 3 and 6 p.m., enjoy the shelter experience, and see firsthand how community giving strengthens local organizations.
No RSVP is required.
