An Ohio man was arrested early Saturday morning on operating while intoxicated charges following a traffic stop on U.S. 30.
Patrolman Wallace with the Plymouth Police Department stopped a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on U.S. 30 near Michigan Street at approximately 3:21 a.m. on Sunday.
During the traffic stop, the officer identified the driver as Antawn Nelson, 53, of Akron, Ohio.
Following an investigation, Nelson was taken into custody on multiple charges:
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, endangering a person
- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated, controlled substance
- Possession of marijuana
Nelson was transported to Marshall County Jail and booked on the charges.
Bond information was not immediately available.
