A special Christmas in July fundraiser is being conducted at The REES this Sunday, July 21. The Bread of Life Community Food Pantry will host the movie “Candy Cane Lane,” starring Eddy Murphy. Showtime is 2 p.m.
Admission is free. There will be food, hygiene, and monetary donation boxes available for those who wish to support the Bread of Life Food Pantry.
Feel free to wear your best Christmas gear to help set the mood. While there is no charge, tickets are required. They are available online at reestheatre.com; at Fernbaugh’s Jewelry, 206 in downtown Plymouth; and at the box office 45 minutes before the movie.
“Candy Cane Lane” is about a man who is determined to win the annual neighborhood Christmas decorating contest. He makes a pact with an elf to help him win. The elf casts a spell, bringing the 12 days of Christmas to life, and creating chaos throughout the town.
