The Terre Haute Police Department is still investigating the shooting-related death of 22-year-old Darian R. Tyler of Terre Haute.
The shooting occurred at the Red Carpet Inn located at 2150 N 3rd Street where Tyler was found dead at the scene.
The investigation has been ongoing through the weekend. The case is still considered open and active as THPD investigators look for answers. The shooting began as a verbal altercation. If more details become available we will have the update here.
