The Marshall County burn ban remains in effect. It is especially important that everyone refrains from outdoor burning today and Wednesday, as the National Weather Service has issued a rare Fire Weather Watch for our county. This is only the sixth issuance of that product in our region since 2010.
Record warm temperatures, low relative humidity, gusty winds, and dry topsoil will combine to create extremely favorable conditions for fires to spread rapidly.
