The Marshall County Fair kicks off this Saturday, July 18th, with a full day of fun for the whole family. The fairgrounds open at noon, with opening ceremonies — including the crowning of the Marshall County Fair Queen — scheduled for 4 p.m.
Saturday's lineup is packed from the afternoon into the evening. An arm-wrestling competition for both kids and adults gets underway at 4 p.m., with registration opening at 1 p.m. At 3 p.m., stop by for a cookie and cake decorating demonstration, and don't miss the always-entertaining frog jumping competition.
The dunk tank and the fun fair open at 5 p.m., and the evening wraps up with the crowd-favorite pig scramble at 7:30 p.m.
The 4-H Exhibit Building and Open Class Building will be open from 5 to 9 p.m., while food vendors and the Commercial Building will be up and running from noon to 9 p.m.
