Marshall County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) is pleased to announce and welcome Greg Hildebrand as its new President/CEO. Hildebrand has been filling the role of Interim Executive Director with MCEDC since November 2022.
Hildebrand is a long-time resident of Marshall County, having worked as an Economic Project Manager for MCEDC since 2019. Previously he had worked at the local newspaper for 22 years in various management positions.
“I’m excited to work with industry and community leaders throughout Marshall County to improve the quality of life the area has to offer. So much of the work of attracting new industry and helping existing industry grow and expand hinges on the availability of a skilled and talented workforce,” said Hildebrand. “Improving the quality of life and the educational opportunities available to the area are both key to attracting new and retaining the current workforce and industry.”
Hildebrand is currently the Board Vice-President of the Lifelong Learning Network, the President of the Marshall County Park and Recreation Board, and volunteers time with the Adventure Sailing organization in Culver. He is the proud parent of three adult children and is active with several service organizations in Marshall County.
Hildebrand replaces Laura Walls, who left MCEDC in November.
