A 28-year-old Plymouth man faces multiple criminal charges after a routine traffic stop early Friday morning led to the discovery of suspected methamphetamine.
According to a news release from the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, deputies on routine patrol stopped a vehicle for traffic infractions at approximately 1:06 a.m. on September 4, 2026. While speaking with the driver, deputies learned the individual did not possess a valid driver's license.
The Plymouth Police Department's K9 Kyzer was called to the scene and alerted to the presence of narcotic odor. A subsequent search of the vehicle produced suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Noah Z. Johnson, 28, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Obstruction of Justice.
Johnson was booked into the Marshall County Jail with bond set at $1,500.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department and the Plymouth Police Department collaborated on the arrest.
