On Monday, December 30th at approximately 4:04 p.m. Officer Witkowski with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a dark-colored sedan traveling west on U.S. 30 near North Michigan Street.
The driver, 43-year-old, Tocarra Jones of Marion, was found to be operating with a suspended driver's license. She was suspected of operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated.
Jones is charged with operating a motor vehicle while suspended and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and lodged in the Marshall County Jail.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
