Mark your calendar and bring your appetite. The REES Theatre is bringing back its popular Annual BBQ Fundraiser on Thursday, August 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. — and this year, there's never been an easier way to support one of downtown Plymouth's most treasured institutions.
For just $15, guests will enjoy a hearty lunch prepared by the talented kitchen crew at Yellow River Tap & Eatery, featuring: a pulled pork sandwich, pretzels, and a drink.
It's a great meal at a great price — and every single dollar goes directly toward supporting The REES Theatre's ongoing mission of bringing live entertainment, classic films, educational programming, and community events to Marshall County.
The REES has made it as convenient as possible to participate. Guests can choose to dine in at the theatre or grab their meal to go. For businesses, offices, and organizations looking to feed a crowd, delivery is available for orders of 10 or more meals, with drop-offs scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Local businesses looking to take advantage of the delivery option are encouraged to call ahead at 574-337-7337 to schedule their order. Whether you're feeding your whole office or just grabbing a solo lunch, this is one of the easiest ways to invest in the arts this summer.
Don't wait until August 20th — pre-sale tickets are available right now at two convenient Plymouth locations: the Coffee Lodge and NaRie Simple Treasurers.
The REES encourages community members, local businesses, and organizations to reserve their lunches early, especially those planning larger delivery orders.
The Annual BBQ Fundraiser wouldn't be possible without the generous support of the following community-minded sponsors: Bowen Printing, Coca-Cola, Culligan, Hershey Salty Snacks, and Miller’s Senior Living. Their commitment to the arts and to Plymouth's cultural future makes events like this possible year after year.
The REES Theatre has long been a cornerstone of life in downtown Plymouth — a place where generations of families have come together to laugh, learn, and be moved by the arts. The Annual BBQ Fundraiser is a simple, delicious way for the entire community to play a role in keeping those doors open for generations to come.
"Every meal purchased directly supports The REES Theatre's ongoing preservation efforts," the theatre noted, "and its commitment to providing exceptional arts, entertainment, educational programming, and cultural experiences for the community."
