Logansport man arrested for armed robbery

A Logansport man was arrested Sunday after an armed robbery was reported on Saturday.

Logansport Police responded to the call of an armed robbery in the 1000 block of Wheatland Avenue.The report indicated that a man displayed a gun and demanded items from a juvenile and adult male.The suspect fled from the scene in a vehicle with stolen items.

There were no injuries during the robbery.

The suspect was identified during the investigation as Daniel Garcia Antonio. Cass County Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant for one count of armed robbery, a Level 3 felony.

SWAT helped execute the search warrant on Eel River Avnue just before 1 p.m. Sunday. Garcia was taken into custody without incident. During the search of the property, the stolen items were recovered along with several guns and illegal drugs.
