Lawrence County has completed it's tax deed proceedings on real estate and mobile home properties that were delinquent on taxes for 2019 and 2020. The county will now offer the real estate and mobile homes for sale to the public. Approximately 18 parcels of real estate and 51 mobile homes will be sold through a sealed bid auction. All sealed written bids must be in to the Lawrence County Treasurers Office located in the Courthouse Annex at 1106 Jefferson Street in Lawrenceville by the end of the business day on Friday February 16 2024. All online bids must also be submitted by the end of that same date. The required minimum bid on real estate is $822 and for the mobile homes $915. Bid packets and sale catalogs are now available at the Lawrence County Treasurers Office or online at www.iltaxsale.com.
