Lawrence County Memorial Hospital (LCMH) is welcoming Fantasy Sharrett as its new Director of Human Resources and Workforce Strategy.
Sharrett, who resides in Ste. Marie (Ill.) with her family, brings more than 20 years of progressive human resources experience to LCMH. She most recently was Director of Human Resources at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston and has also spent more than 3 years in human resources at Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson.
She has a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Masters of Business Administration from McKendree University at Lebanon, Ill. She also serves as a part-time faculty member with Penn State World Campus.
In her new role at the medical facility in Lawrenceville (Ill.), Sharrett will lead the hospital's human resources functions and work close with hospital leaders throughout the organization to advance employee recruitment and retention, employee engagement and talent development, workforce planning and performance management and the overall employee experience.
