The Lawrence County Sheriffs Department arrested a local couple on drug charges and picked up a wanted man Monday.
Jennifer and Stephen Burdette, both 42 of Bridgeport were charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. They were taken to the Lawrence County Jail and were later released with a notice to appear in court. 41 year old Christopher Daggett of Lawrenceville was wanted on an arrest warrant for Failure to Appear in Court. He was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held there on that warrant.
