The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures on U.S. 35 in Howard County for concrete and asphalt paving.
Beginning on or after Thursday, September 18, U.S. 35 will be reduced to one lane between State Road 19 and U.S. 31 with flaggers directing traffic. Work is expected to be complete by the end of October, weather permitting.
During this closure, lanes may be narrow in the project area. Motorists with wide loads are asked to seek an alternate route.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
