Karen Dyer has been named as the Executive Director of the Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau, the bureau.
Dyer was the bureau’s director of strategic initiatives. Before coming to the bureau, Dayer served 27 years in higher education fundraising, marketing, communications, and strategic planning. Most recently, she was executive vice president for advancement and strategic initiatives at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.
The Executive Director position became open due to the retirement of David Patterson, who has served the bureau for 30 years.
