BRAZIL, Indiana (DLC Media) - Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse was honored at the Indiana Sheriffs' Youth Ranch. Plasse was named Sheriff of the Year while at the Brazil training retreat facility for kids. Plasse is the volunteer board president of the ranch. While Plasse has been in the role of president the ranch has seen many improvements including updated cabins, hosted state-wide events, and connecting the community with the universities in the area.
