Rochester Parks Department and Recreation officials are reminding the public that Jaycee Park, 253 E 12th St, in Rochester, is still closed and currently under construction.
While progress with renovations at the park are making the project closer to completion, the reopening of the park will not happen until later this summer. Along with the new playground equipment, improvements also include additional parking, new sidewalks, and a fence. The public is asked to stay away from the equipment after it's installed until the official opening of Jaycee Park happens.
Parks Department officials predict the reopening to be closer to the end of July. An official date will be made public as soon as the park is officially ready to reopen.
