Parke County Deputies are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred Sunday at approximately 6:41 p.m. on County Road 350 West.
Deputies responded to a report of property damage after a silver Dodge Caravan struck a fence and left the scene. The vehicle was located a short distance away, and the driver, identified as Andrew Jenkins, 43, of Louisville, Kentucky, told authorities he missed the curve due to fog and hit the fence. Jenkins stated he had planned to return in daylight to address the damage.
The case has been forwarded to the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office for review, as leaving the scene of a property damage accident remains under investigation.
