The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for central Indiana.
The advisory officially begins at 2 p.m. Tuesday and is in effect through 8 p.m. Thursday. Peak heat index values up to 105 are expected each afternoon with limited relief from the heat and humidity overnight.
