Dean Byers, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County, announced the groundbreaking ceremony for the 28th family home to be built in Marshall County.
Byers said this is the second home that will be constructed on the property at 413 West Garro Street in Plymouth. The groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Sunday, August 17th at 2 pm.
Volunteers will be working alongside the homeowner, Jamie Beam, and her family to complete the home. Again, this year, the high school's building trades program will be a part of the home build.
Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families who have a housing need, are willing to help build their home, and can make an affordable monthly mortgage payment.
The family will be able to move in when the final touches are complete and the building inspector issues an occupancy permit next year.
