Greenfield Police Department informed the public that it was aware of a threat circulating on social media in reference to a violent act that is to take place on Thursday at Greenfield-Central High School.
There is an added police presence at Greenfield schools Thursday morning due to a threat circulating on social media.
In its own social media post, the Greenfield Police Department informed the public that it was aware of a threat circulating on social media in reference to a violent act that is to take place on Thursday at Greenfield-Central High School.
The department went on to state in the release that officers are actively investigating the source of this threat to identify the person responsible.
There are extra officers at Greenfield schools Thursday.
The department stated that it will post updated information as it becomes possible. They are encouraging the public to not share the post.
