A Georgia teenager was killed in a Howard County automobile accident.
According to the Howard County Coroner’s Office, they were dispatched to 00NS County Road 750 West for a person who died in a motor vehicle accident.
Few details about the accident were available at the time of this report.
The victim was identified as Evan Lee Shaffer, 13, of Macon, Georgia. An autopsy conducted on Friday determined the cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma injuries and that the manner of death was accidental.
Final determination is pending autopsy and toxicology reports.
The case remains under investigation by the Howard County Sheriff’s Office and the Howard County Coroner.
