Reports out of Evansville indicate a former Lawrence County man shot by police during a domestic incident just before Christmas was released from intensive care in the hospital this week.
47 year old Tyler Parrott was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail after his release.
He is preliminarily charged with three counts of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon, three counts of Domestic Battery, two counts of Neglect of a Dependent and a single count of Animal Cruelty.
Those charges stem from an incident on Sunday, December 22nd when authorities received a 911 call reported domestic violence at a Tiffany Court residence.
When officers arrived at the scene, they say that Parrott aimed a gun at them while standing over a female and two children.
He was shot by one of the officers on scene and has been in intensive care ever since.
An initial court appearance date was not yet set.
