Plymouth Police Officers arrested two individuals on warrants with the assistance of FLOCK cameras.
On Sunday, December 7th, at approximately 11:00 P.M., Officer Walace was notified of a FLOCK LPR, license plate reader, alert advising of a vehicle traveling into the city. The alert was due to the registered owner having an active arrest warrant.
At approximately 11:15 P.M., the vehicle was located at the Speedway Gas Station on N Michigan Street. The owner of the vehicle, Mary Minix, 51, of Knox, was located with the vehicle and taken into custody without incident for the active arrest warrant out of Pulaski County. Minix was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held until transport with Pulaski County was arranged.
Monday afternoon, December 8th, Officer Fisher with the Plymouth Police Department was advised by Marshall County Dispatch of a FLOCK hit on a vehicle traveling east on U.S. 30 from the County Line. The vehicle’s registered owner had an active warrant out of Porter County.
The Plymouth Officer located the vehicle traveling on U.S. 30 at Oak Drive and observed a male driver and a male passenger. A traffic stop was conducted, and the car pulled over on the off-ramp from U.S. 30 to get onto Michigan Street.
The driver, who was wanted, was identified as Tanner Grove, 31, of Knox. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where he was booked on the warrant.
Marshall County Police assisted Plymouth Police.
