One person was injured and hospitalized after a late-night residential fire Monday, September 21st in the city of Vincennes.
Units of the Vincennes Fire Department were dispatched around 10 p.m. EDT to the fire location in the 1200 block of North 11th Street and arrived to find the structure already ablaze. Firemen were on the scene for several hours bringing the fire under control.
Fire Chief Brett Bobe indicated that one person was hurt and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
No other information is being immediately released as to a cause, the extent of damages or the fire victim's identity or condition. The fire remains under investigation, and the Indiana State Fire Marshalls' Office has been called in to assist local fire officals
