The Fulton County Community Foundation (FCCF) announces the recipients of 2025 township grants, benefiting Kewanna-Union Township and Liberty Township. These grants support charitable projects and programs that enhance the quality of life in these communities.

Following a recent review by the township grants committee, four organizations were awarded funding for their efforts:

Kewanna-Union Township
• Kewanna’s H.E.A.R.T. Inc. received $1,300 to support the Kewanna Fall Festival.
• Kewanna-Union Township Public Library received $1,200 to provide books for the Youth Summer Reading program.

Liberty Township
• Fulton Athletic League Inc. received $1,500 to assist with the installation of batting cages at Liberty Township Park.
• Fulton-Liberty Lions Club received $1,000 to support improvements to the park and community building.

“Community-based organizations bring vitality to our communities and offer essential services that make everyday life better,” FCCF Director of Development Brian Johnson said. “Through these township grants, we’re proud to support the people and programs that keep our rural communities thriving.”

Since their creation, these township funds have granted more than $45,000 to initiatives ranging from youth programs to essential services. Applications for next year’s township grants will open in early 2026 and can be found at www.nicf.org/fulton-county/grants.
