A complaint by a minor of a sexual offense was made to Plymouth Police Sunday morning.
On October 20th, around 2:42 a.m. Plymouth Police officers were dispatched to the area of 1201 East Jefferson Street for a sex offense complaint by a juvenile. Through an investigation by Detective Ayala and city officers, Eric A. Trevino, 35, of Hillcrest Avenue in Plymouth, was located in Centennial Park, interviewed, and arrested for two counts of Sexual Misconduct with a minor and a Level 5 and also a Level 6 Felony.
Trevino is currently being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
