Another southeastern Illinois county has issued a burn ban due to the continued dry conditions.
Crawford County law enforcement and fire officials made the decision to implement the county-wide ban Wednesday. Under the ban, no open burning is allowed with the exception of small, contained fires for cooking purposes. The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
Crawford County joins Lawrence and Clay as counties who have chosen to issue burn bans in the area.
