The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries Monday just before 4 p.m. on Michigan Road.
At 3:53 p.m., Marshall County Central Dispatch Center received a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle collision with injuries in the 13,000 block of Michigan Road.
When Officer Haygood from the Sheriff’s Department arrived on the scene, it was determined that a 2008 Lincoln Navigator, driven by 18-year-old Cloey McMichael of Argos, was traveling north on Michigan Road when she began to slow down for a vehicle turning into her driveway. That was when a 2010 Nissan Versa, driven by Deanna Sheppard-Campbell, 52, also of Argos, failed to slow down for the slowing traffic and collided with the rear of the Navigator.
Sheppard-Campbell was transported to Plymouth Hospital with minor injuries. McMichael had a juvenile passenger who was assessed on scene by EMS but released. The Marshall County Sheriff's Department was assisted on scene by Plymouth Fire and EMS, Argos EMS, and Lyon's Wrecker Service.
