On Thursday, October 10th, at about 7 PM, Deputy Wozniak with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department initiated a traffic stop on a gray 2006 Chevrolet SUV near Michigan Road and U.S. 31.
During the investigation, the vehicle's driver, Askia M. Shareef, 29, of Indianapolis, was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Johnson County, IN. He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail, where a hold was placed for Johnson County.
