On Saturday, April 12th, just before 1 p.m., Marshall County deputies stopped a 2013 Ford Escape on U.S. 31 north of U.S. 30 for a speeding infraction.
The officer found that the 22-year-old driver, Domingo Escobar of Grand Rapids, Michigan, did not have a license, nor had he ever obtained one.
Escobar was arrested for operator never license and was taken to the Marshall County Jail for processing. He was given a court date, a cash bond of $100, and his vehicle was impounded by Lyon Wrecker Service.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
