County Police arrest Bremen man in Plymouth for driving while suspended

Officer Bragg with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Bremen man on Dec. 8 for driving while suspended.

At approximately 9:20 p.m., the Marshall County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Michigan Road near U.S. 30. During the investigation, it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, Jose Miguel Angel Montesdeoca of North Indiana Street in Bremen, had a driving status of suspended with a prior. He was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for driving while his license was suspended—prior and held on a $500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings, entitled to be represented by counsel, and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
