The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed a brief tornado Sunday evening June 21st in Knox County (Ind).
The twister was rated as EF0 and was about 80 yards wide with estimated peak winds of 85 mph. It touched down around 7 p.m. EDT about 3 miles west of Bicknell and traveled less than a mile before lifting about two minutes later at 7:02 p.m. EDT.
It caused a swath of damage west of the Windmill Road with large tree limbs knocked down, metal roof panels were pulled ff an outbuilding, large limbs in several hardwood trees were destroyed and the roof of a metal outbuilding was completely removed. There were no reported injuries or fatalities.
