The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 8:30 in their second-floor meeting room of the County Building. Their agenda includes the Highway Department report from Superintendent Jason Peters, and a discussion with Sheriff Hassel on the Culver Community School Police Department expanded jurisdiction. Community Correction Director Beau Holcomb will present an agreement with Alcohol Monitoring Systems, Inc. and the 2025 Community Correction Grant contract.
Other agenda items for the commissioners include the quarterly report from the Marshall County Council on Aging with Janis Holiday, an update from Billy Schoff for Building and Grounds and a report from the Public Safety Committee. Dave Hostetler will discuss the County Plan Commission and Terry Borggren; West Township Trustee wants to discuss the Firemen’s Memorial parking lot.
County Attorney Jim Clevenger will give his report along with County Auditor Angie Birchmier. There is also a chance for public comments and the commissions will consider the 2025 Sheriff’s Salary Contract, an amendment to the Plymouth Greenway Trail and they will continue their discussion of using APR Funds to provide additional food assistance to the pantries in Marshall County.
The commissioners meeting is open to the public and streamed live on the county’s YouTube channel.
