Former Agricultural instructor and FFA advisor Chelsey Meluch was named the building principal.
When students, faculty and staff returned to Cloverdale Middle School for this school year they saw a familiar face as their building leader.
Former Agricultural instructor and FFA advisor Chelsey Meluch was named the building principal over the summer and she is looking forward to further broadening her educational scope.
"I began my career as an agricultural instructor and FFA advisor. I discovered that I absolutely love being with the students, helping them discover their passions and interests, and working with families to help their students succeed. The best part of the job is working with people and making school the best it can be for each student," Meluch told The Putnam County Post.
As building principal, Meluch said she is most excited about knowing her school's students, staff and families.
"We have a great community that is always willing to support our school and our students. The adaptation to becoming a principal has been really fun because I get to bring people together to solve problems and to work on making our school the best it can be for the students and the staff. My goal for this year is to have clear and consistent communication between our school, our staff and our families," Meluch said.
With the school year already underway, Meluch believes the 2024-25 school year is going to a "great one" at Cloverdale Middle School.
"At Cloverdale Middle School, we are excited to have our students back in the building and learning with us. We are looking forward to opportunities to see our students learn, join clubs and athletics and discover a little more about the person they want to grow into," Meluch said.
