City Police arrest two in separate incidents Monday and Tuesday

Plymouth Police made two arrests over two days involving domestic battery and a suspended license, according to department reports.

Plymouth Police responded to a domestic disturbance call at the Marshall County Community Resource Center, 501 West Adams Street, at approximately 11 a.m. Monday, March 2.

Officer Derifield investigated the complaint and arrested Christopher Langley, 44, of the Economy Inn, for domestic battery. Langley was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $2,500 cash bond.

Just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, Officer Krynock conducted a traffic stop at Pioneer Drive and Lincoln Highway after observing a traffic infraction.

The driver, Olivia R. Rice, 26, of Walkerton, was found to have a suspended license with a prior conviction. Rice was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $500 cash bond. She was given a court date of March 31.

Both individuals are presumed innocent and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
