Officer Vinson with the Plymouth Police Department arrested two individuals for driving without a valid driver’s license on Wednesday, July 31st, and on Friday, August 2nd.
On Wednesday the city officer conducted a traffic stop at U.S. 30 and Pioneer Drive for an infraction violation. The driver, identified as Castro Canzles, 37, of Illinois, was found to have no valid driver's license. He was arrested for operator never licensed.
On Friday Officer Vinson stopped a vehicle at Michigan Street and Plymouth Goshen Trail for an infraction violation. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Oswaldo Alvardao of Warsaw. He was found to have no valid driver's license. Alvardao was detained and arrested for being an operator and never licensed.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
