On Monday evening, the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will open quotes for asbestos removal at The Pointe apartments, which is mandated before demolition. They will also open quotes for a new vehicle for the Fire Department.
Various Department heads will report to the board, including Airport Manager Bill Sheley, who will present a Boundary Tree Agreement with ITAMCO. The City Attorney will also present a resolution to amend the Complete Streets Policy.
The Plymouth Common Council meets at 6:30 and will make additional appointments to various city boards and commissions, consider amendments to the City Zoning Ordinance, and then hear on first reading an ordinance to repeal and replace the Commercial Revitalization Rebate Program. There is also an ordinance to implement a fee for non-emergency responses and life assistance at residential care facilities, along with a resolution authorizing the release of a request for qualifications and proposals.
The Center Township Trustee will be at the meeting to have an overview of the budget, and there will be an update on ONE Marshall County and the city’s Comprehensive Plan.
The city meetings are open to the public in the second-floor Council Chambers of City Hall and streamed live on the City of Plymouth YouTube channel.
