Breakroom Pub and Grill to host Giveback Night for Plymouth Robotics Teams

The Breakroom Pub and Grill in downtown Argos is stepping up to support local students by hosting a Giveback Night on Tuesday, April 14, to benefit the Plymouth Robotics program.

From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., patrons can enjoy a great meal while supporting a great cause. A portion of all sales during the event will be donated directly to the robotics teams to help fund their upcoming trip to the VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis later this month.

The trip represents an amazing opportunity for students from Lincoln Junior High and Plymouth High School to compete on a global stage, represent their community, and showcase their hard work and engineering skills. However, travel, lodging, and competition expenses add up quickly. Organizers are asking for the community's support to help make this dream a reality, noting that every donation makes a difference.

Three teams will be representing the Plymouth community at the World Championship: Plymouth High School Team 586E "Easy Breezy": Freddie Kallenberg, Cora Hanes, Wyatt Houin, and Chance Miller; Lincoln Junior High School Team 587V "Vulcanoes": Bear Kallenberg and Brayden Mabie; Team 587Z "Zingbots": Hayden Barnhart, Lucy Hamand, Sydney Morrison, and Carter Richards.

For those unable to attend the Giveback Night in Argos, donations are still being accepted. Checks can be mailed or dropped off at either Plymouth High School or Lincoln Junior High. Supporters are asked to write "Worlds" in the memo line to ensure the funds are directed specifically to the robotics teams' travel expenses.
